- A 24-hour notice is necessary to ensure next-day delivery to a job site.

- It is Home Lumber’s policy to contact the individual who placed the order prior to delivery once it is determined when the delivery can be made. A customer can also call the main office at 260-493-4436 and ask for the dispatcher (Jeff Dunfee) and he will give you an estimated time for delivery.
QUESTION: WHAT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO SCHEDULE A DELIVERY OF MATERIAL?
- All customers must provide a contact person, including a phone number, along with a complete address for where the material will be delivered.
QUESTION: HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN AN ORDER FOR NON-STOCK MATERIAL WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BE DELIVERED?
- By calling Home Lumber’s main office at 260-493-4436, any of our inside sales representatives will be able to provide that information.
QUESTION: WHAT IS THE PROPER PROCEDURE TO HAVE AN ORDER OF WINDOWS DELIVERED?
- Home Lumber must have at least a 24-hour notice prior to when a customer would like an order of windows delivered. Once the desired date is determined by the customer in accordance with when the framing crew will be on the job site to help unload the window package, call Home Lumber’s office at 260-493-4436 and ask an inside sales representative to confirm the delivery date request.
QUESTION: WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR HAVING MATERIAL AT A JOB SITE PICKED UP AND RETURNED FOR POTENTIAL CREDIT?
- A list of material that is needing to be picked up is required once that request is made by calling Home Lumber’s inside sales staff at 260-493-4436. The inside sales representative will provide a credit number for the material that needs returned and that material will be picked up within four working days of the initial request date.
