Home Lumber of New Haven Inc utilizes Global Positioning (GPS) satellites in most all of its delivery and service vehicles.  This enhanced technology allows us to track and help determine the location and best use of our delivery vehicles.  As part of this system it provides a secondary form of communication with the vehicles when more standard cell service is not available.

Home Lumber has set the bar when it comes to timely deliveries in Northeast Indiana.  Home Lumber’s fleet consists of five trucks with mounted forklifts, three van trucks, two Boom trucks, three flat dump bodies, and two pickups for hotshot deliveries.  The framing professionals in the area will tell you when it comes to having product on the job-site when you need it, you can depend on Home Lumber to keep the job moving.

All of our delivery vehicles have an assigned cellular telephone for immediate communication in the truck or on the job-site.  If an emergency pickup is needed our drivers can be contacted and diverted to your location.  Drivers are able to keep the dispatcher informed of any delays or can get immediate information back to the customer if issues arise. 

All of our professional drivers are required to have passed and maintain certification with a commercial drivers (CDL) license.  They also maintain a regular DOT physical and are randomly drug screened.  We require the highest standard of professionalism and customer service in the area.
